is a Sustainability Communication Specialist, ardently advocating for youth engagement in critical areas such as renewable energy, food security, creativity and innovation. Her background in Social Sciences informs her vision for systemic change across Africa. As a Bevisioneers Fellow alumna and current Student Energy Fellow, she spearheads projects and initiatives that empower young Africans and propel sustainable development. Babalwa's visionary leadership extends to her founding of UTANDO, a platform bridging the gap between energy and food security through renewable technologies and waste management education. Additionally, her co-founding of Energy Gist exemplifies her commitment to increasing energy literacy and shaping impactful policy briefs. Babalwa further distinguishes herself as a communication specialist with ORNA, a program specifically designed to empower and grant international market access to creatives and entrepreneurs across the Global South.
